KC generally seeks out a combination of challenge, relaxation, and outdoors in her life outside of work. You will often find her in the Red River Gorge for the weekend to hike, climb, and camp. KC and her husband built out a van and traveled for nearly 1.5 years to find rest and an opportunity for introspection while they hiked to remote mountain ranges, rock climbed, and foraged for wild mushrooms.
When she isn’t outside in the woods, she enjoys knitting projects, attempting to ferment anything she can get her hands on, and cooking up all sorts of weird things that her husband surprisingly eats without any significant complaints.
