* A private session is recommended if you are suffering from acute pain or a new injury, as well as an acute exacerbation of chronic pain prior to enrolling into the group classes. This will ensure your injury is being addressed properly in the group setting. Please contact Dr. Allen if you have questions regarding your current condition and which class would best suit your needs.
MYT classes are small multi-focal group classes allowing a hands on approach, including manual therapy and myofascial release while in an asana allowing management of your pain condition. Individualized modifications will be given to better suit your needs according to your given condition for improved safety and technique with your yoga practice. These yoga classes are a great compliment to private Physical Therapy session reducing frequency of PT visits and your healthcare expenses. For those with a high deductible, this gives you the opportunity to be seen by a Physical Therapist in a small group setting. Health savings accounts may be used according to individual plans.
